taking a detailed medical history, a thorough physical postural examination and treatment.
The physical postural examination will help the clinician determine a diagnosis for your condition (Chiropractors) and a suitable course of treatment. Before continuing with any treatment, the clinician will explain their recommended course of care, how it will improve your condition as well as explaining any risks and possible side effects that may occur.
If the clinician does not believe that they can improve your condition or has concerns regarding other health conditions which you may have, they may refer you to another healthcare professional, within the clinic or elsewhere. The clinician will then ask for your consent to start any treatment.
All of our Chiropractors at The Body Health Centre are fully qualified, insured and registered by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).
A full thorough case history along with a detailed medical history will be taken on your first appointment with us to ensure you are safe to treat. All information given is confidential. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions your Chiropractor will discuss any potential risks or side affects you may experience before any treatment commences and full consent has been given.
Chiropractic is an evidence-based treatment proven to be safe and effective for people of all ages and backgrounds.

No! Your Sports Massage Therapist will work within your pain threshold, Sports Massage is more about the quality of the massage rather than the depth. Our therapists may use different techniques, where some may be more uncomfortable than others but then should ease off after a short time.
Everyone tolerates pain differently so make sure you communicate with your therapist if the pressure is too uncomfortable. The last thing we would want to do is to create more discomfort on top of your existing pain, therefore we will adjust the pressure to suit you.
Yes! You have the right to request a copy of all of your records, treatment notes and scans from The Body Health Centre whenever needed.
